Jan 12, 2021 My RTX 2060 fans are spiking at idle, constantly going 0, 1300, 0, 1300 and so again RPM. I tried tweaking settings, because fans were set on auto, i tried just setting fan speed on 25 on Afterburner, it stopped spiking, but i didnt want to have the same RMP all the time, so i made my own fan curve, but when i apply it, the rpm starts spiking.

Ive tried playing around with them in Precision X1 and I cant manually turn the fan on either. After a restart the fan 2 doesn#39;t even spin while booting. If the card is out of warranty, see if the wires are long enough to SWAP the connections of the Fans. If the #1 fan goes full bore, its definitely the controller. If your GPU fan or fans aren#x27;t set to spin constantly, you can easily force them to kick into gear and do what they are intended for. The easiest solution is to run an intensive game and check if the fan activates. A better solution is to install a benchmarking tool like MSI Afterburner, for example, and run it.

So I just recently got an rtx 2060 super sc and for some reason while I#39;m on idle the fans will not spin for a good couple of seconds then the fans will rev so very fast for like 2 sec then it will turn off again. The card will do this on and off thing until the fan spins at a stable speed.
